Did you ever wonder where grant money comes from and what actually goes into writing a proposal? Then join us for a Proposal Writing Workshop  on April 27, 2018 12-1:30PM in the Johnson Room (4-303). We willl start with an overview of the various funding sources that support the physics department from DOE to private foundations like our sponsor Heising-Simons Foundation. We will then dissect an example successful NSF CAREER propsal. We will finish with some time for applicants to the Physics Research Fellows program to get feedback on their proposals.
